A Huge Thank You & Come join us!
The makerspace building arrived on the last day of August with much ado! Neighbors joined in as the building was introduced to its new home. Approval was exclaimed… she is a beauty. Now the work would begin and I must say we have given our hearts and soul to the work. Family and friends gathered around us with such grace and kinship.
Huge kudos to so many people for their love, hard work and camaraderie. We begin with contributions from Rosaire Hoffman who leads the pack with her angelic ways in our community. A huge thank you to the following contributors: Laura Burns, Jess Menard, Carol & Rod Bullis, Lincoln Art Council (for purchasing our kiln and wheel), Ernie & Renee Lundberg, and Kathy Bertrand (for a beautiful antique window for our outhouse). To Jim Heisler and Frank Kilzer a large thank you for setting in our french doors to perfection. Also to Cole Orth and Shea Forkan a thank you for showing up and lifting the doors in. A personal shout out to Jill Gottschok for her generous contribution of art supplies! On that note, thank you to our friends Kathy Meadors and Bonnie Holmes for thinking of us with art supplies. Also a thank you to our neighbors (Reggi & Rod, Bill & Judy)for donations of furniture and hot water heater.
The last three weeks have led to many individuals showing up with grit and endurance. Thank you Jen Packer, Lisa Gibson, Traci Bignell, Jae Allen and the moving crew of Klint Menard, Ty Feedback, and Shane Raynor. You filled our hearts with so much love.
Our first show is coming up October 10 and 11. This show is the Alpine Artisans Tour of the Arts. We have 3 fabulous artists joining us for this event including Sally Bogaert, Lisa Ernst and Jason Allen. Stop in to view artists demonstrating their art form and see the new Makerspace! Treats, coffee and tea (plus some delicious wine) will be served! Follow the tour of the arts up through the Blackfoot Valley corridor and view the beautiful foliage this season.
